Police have arrested 22 people for "various offences" during a protest at Parliament House in Canberra .Police have yet to charge any of the group but say they will continue to monitor protest activity in the area.Environmental activism group Rising Tide staged the protest in order to call on the federal government to end new coal and gas projects.A spokesperson for the group estimated around 500 people had gathered on the laws of Parliament House today when the rally began.
