Michael K Williams, who starred in the TV series The Wire, has been found dead in his New York apartment, according to police.
NYPD spokesman Lieutenant John Grimpel said Williams was found dead in the Brooklyn apartment after a 2:00pm phone call to emergency operators on Monday.He received a 2021 Emmy nomination for his performance in HBO's Lovecraft Country and also found fame for his role in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire
