"The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation has received an urgent appeal from Bene Aged Care … who are in dire need of staff due to a COVID-19 outbreak," the advertisement read. Meanwhile, the state's Ambulance Employee Association said paramedics were called to fill in for staff at the facility on Christmas Eve.
"Last night the ambulance service deployed a paramedic to assist the only registered nurse in the entire facility."
