A small farming town in Western Australia is bucking the trend of shrinking regional populations as new residents move to the arid countryside searching for cheap and affordable housing.But now, almost all of the houses in the town, 326 kilometres south of Perth, have been bought by new residents.'It's a beautiful old 1930s vintage house,' he said.Mr Bryce and his partner bought this 1930s cottage in Tambellup.Mr Bryce and his partner, a retired nurse, said they chose Tambellup for its accessible medical amenities and close-knit community.'So we needed somewhere to rebuild our life, and somewhere nice and friendly, but still close enough to medical services and things.'
