A brain examination has revealed AFL champion Danny Frawley suffered a severe chronic traumatic encephalopathy incident when he died last September. The condition could be caused by repeated concussions or blows to the head and could lead to Alzheimer's disease, depression, or anger issues. The former St Kilda captain was only the second AFL player to be diagnosed with CTE after an examination found Graham “Polly” Farmer also suffered from the condition when he died last August.
