Amid renewed calls from the Opposition, Agriculture Minister Murray Watt has revealed what it would take to close Australia’s border to Indonesia over foot and mouth disease fears.

FMD is a highly contagious disease of livestock causing fever followed by the development of vesicles in the mouth and on the feet.
