The airline ticket price war heated up today when Qantas announced it had discounted over one million seats to more than 60 destinations around Australia.
Qantas has fired a shot in the airline ticket price war by discounting the price of tickets on more than a million seats to major locations all around Australia. and will end at 11.59pm on July 25, unless sold out prior.
“This is Qantas’ sixth sale domestic and regional sale this year and follows the most recent domestic sale in June where tens of thousands of sale fares were snapped up by savvy travellers planning their next Australian adventure,” said a spokesman for Qantas. “Travellers looking to book a local getaway can book domestic economy sale fares starting from $109 one-way for travel from August 2024 to March 2025.”
More than 40 routes on sale for under $160 one way, including Ballina to Sydney , Gold Coast to Sydney and Launceston to Melbourne Qantas fares include checked baggage, complimentary food and beverages, free Wi-Fi on domestic aircraft and seat selection.Launceston – Melbourne $119
