Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley says there are “alarm bells ringing across Australia” following Labor’s decision to block the former government’s $1.3 billion modern manufacturing initiative.

The funding arrangements authorised by the Coalition in the lead-up to the election will be frozen until the Albanese government completes its “value for money” review.“They’re ready to sign on apprentices, they’re ready to build new capital equipment,” she told Sky News Australia.
