The “demoted” Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek decided to make a “dangerous” splash in her National Press Club address today, Sky News host Andrew Bolt says.
Mr Bolt said the cabinet minister was playing a “dangerous game” for the Labor Party, after she delivered her State of the Environment address.
“Plibersek was demoted by Prime minister Anthony Albanese when he was handing out the ministries after his election win,” Mr Bolt said. “She’d been touted as a potential prime minister and it seems she and Albanese don’t get on, so she was dropped from education to environment minister. “After her performance today, I reckon she’s thought to hell with that, I’m going to make a splash even here.”
