Prime Minister Anthony Albanese faces possibility of losing 'whole bunch of seats' at upcoming election following poll slump and spate of scandals

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has said he's confident of winning a larger majority at the next election. Deputy Opposition Leader Sussan Ley told SkyNews.com.au that Mr Albanese was only concerned with staying in power.

You know, you just sit there, babble, babble, babble,” Mr Albanese said in Parliament last month. The lavish property was bought at a time when many Australians have been grappling with high interest rates, housing affordability issues and stubborn inflation.Allegations he requested flight upgrades from former Qantas CEO Alan Joyce ultimately led to suggestions of a conflict of interest while serving as transport and shadow transport minister.

He explained voters felt Mr Albanese had turned his back on their struggles with inadequate relief for the housing, mental health and cost-of-living crises.
