Federal Labor leader Anthony Albanese will push the Morrison government to offer more support for out-of-work Australians and struggling small businesses ahead of next month's federal budget.
The plan includes investing in the aged care and care economy workforce, including childcare and disability care and support for small business through improving clash flow.He will also push the government to improve labour market programs to support vulnerable job seekers. He said charities, such as St Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army, and community groups were under enormous pressure delivering food parcels and were "keeping people going".
