Anthony Albanese wasted no time attacking the Opposition in Question Time, while also sending a message to Peter Dutton over his Liberal Party leadership.
As Question Time officially opened for the new 47th parliament, the two leaders went head-to-head over the Australian Building and Construction Commission which Labor has vowed to abolish.
Mr Dutton promised he would unite fractures within the conservative party and was initially welcomed by the Prime Minister as someone he could have a “better relationship” with. “Being the leader of the Opposition I know is no easy task,” Mr Albanese told First Edition host Pete Stefanovic in May.“Peter Dutton has never broken confidence that I’ve had with him.”
