The court heard that the incident occurred on November 17, 2020, during which Lisa Anne Perryman, 56, and her late husband allegedly attacked their neighbour Horace Monching at his property in Middleton, in the Huon Valley. He told the court he saw someone get out of the car before walking up the driveway towards his house.
A tussle then started between the two men, and Mr Monching said he used a croquet mallet to defend himself.
