Former Victorian premier Daniel Andrews is fighting a court order to submit phone records from the day his Ford SUV collided with a teenage cyclist, who was seriously injured on impact.

The former state premier was issued a subpoena by the Supreme Court outside his home in March this year, requiring him to produce phone records from that day. Lawyers for Meuleman are seeking to establish who the former premier spoke to in the four minutes between the collision and when Mr Andrews called emergency services.
