The teenager was arrested on Christmas Day after he was spotted attempting to break into the Queen's residence where she was celebrating with family.
Officers from Thames Valley and the Metropolitan Police were called to the home of the Queen around 8:30am on Christmas Day with reports of a security breach.
Thames Valley Superintendent Rebecca Mears said it will be working alongside Metropolitan Police to investigate the incident. In May, police arrested two men, a 31-year-old man and his 29-year-old girlfriend after they scaled the fences at the Royal Lodge.
