The photo was released on Friday — the day mask regulations came back into force in the UK, amid a growing number of COVID-19 cases and concerns over the Omicron variant.The Duchess of Cambridge hosted her first Christmas carols concert at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.included performances by Leona Lewis, Ellie Goulding and Tom Walker.
They included "unsung heroes", people connected with the Cambridges' various charities, members of the Armed Forces and those in the community who "may be more vulnerable or isolated within our society". Royal fans will need to wait until Christmas Eve for the concert to be broadcast on British TV channel ITV.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the UK's annual Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The charity event, which has been running since 1912, showcases famous names, with pop star Ed Sheeran on this year's bill.Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, wore a green sequinned dress by Jenny Packham which she previously wore on tour in Pakistan.
