Sky News host chrissmithonair says the pregnant woman who was arrested in Ballarat is the 'symbol of repression' after a BLM protest was allowed to go ahead in Victoria earlier in the year, yet she was handcuffed in her home.

Sky News host Chris Smith says the pregnant woman who was arrested in Ballarat is the "symbol of repression" after a BLM protest was allowed to go ahead in Victoria earlier in the year, yet she was handcuffed in her home. Vision emerged of a pregnant Victorian woman being arrested at her Miners Rest home - near Ballarat - during a police raid for her alleged involvement in organising an anti-lockdown rally for Saturday.

“They’re comparing the symbol of repression and comrade Dan Andrews’ way of running things with how they handled the Black Lives Matter protest,” Mr Smith told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “You can’t allow one to go ahead and then hammer a pyjama-wearing pregnant woman. “She is the symbol of repression because at the end of the day … why wouldn’t you say to her can you please take that Facebook thing off, this is the law at the moment.
