Liberal MP Tim Wilson says Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews was being “completely selective” when he claimed he hadn't seen the viral footage of a pregnant woman being arrested for a Facebook post. The Victorian Premier told media reporters he hadn’t seen the disturbing footage which has had millions of views online. “I’m absolutely sure he’s aware of it,” Mr Wilson told Sky News host Peter Gleeson.
“I’m absolutely sure his media advisor said ‘oh you do realise there’s this viral video that has gone global, not just in Australian media, it’s on the BBC, it’s on Russia Today, it’s on media outlets everywhere in the world.” “The idea that the premier wouldn’t be aware of it is frankly farcical.” “He would have been aware of the fact that it was the police and they were being heavy handed.
