"I didn't think I could do that; I haven't gone my personal best in, like, two years," Dedekind said. She struggled for words as she tried to let the news sink in.Jessica Stenson stormed to victory in the women's marathon on day two, becoming Australia's first gold medallist in the event since Kerryn McCann secured back-to-back wins in 2002 and 2006. Stenson's winning time was 2:27:31.
