Australian media personality Sophie Falkiner has announced her engagement.
The TV presenter and model, 50, took to Instagram over the weekend to share her happy news, along with pictures of the moment her partner, Steve Wood, got down on one knee during their family holiday on the Whitsunday Islands.
“My family, children, and friends are all so excited to have you in their lives. As I am equally excited to become a member of your beautiful family.The happy couple were accompanied by friends and family on their luxury holiday, including Falkiner’s teenage children, Bella, 17, and Jack, 14, whom she shares with her ex-husband.Falkiner has previously gushed over her partner, telling“He’s probably one of the kindest men I’ve ever met, and I feel very lucky.
The new chapter comes after Falkiner’s split from her first husband, former Nova executive Tony Thomas in 2015.The couple’s decision to end their marriage of 14 years sent shockwaves through the media industry.
