Liberal Senator Alex Antic says Australians are not going to be fooled by the Voice to Parliament referendum which is set to take place on October 14th. More than half of Australians will likely vote No to a Voice to Parliament if it were held today, according to a new poll conducted by Newspoll for The Australian newspaper. “I had the view 18 months ago Aussies would work this out even if the government … weren’t going to tell the Aussies the detail as they haven’t,” Mr Antic told Sky News host James Morrow. “I always had confidence that Australians would work this out, that they would be cautious with their constitution. “I think Aussies are going to deliver a Brexit moment to the corporate elites and to the smug political operators who think they can just tell Aussies what to do.”

‘Yes’ campaign’s behaviour pushing people to Vote ‘No’ for Voice referendum‘Yes’ campaign’s behaviour pushing people to Vote ‘No’ for Voice referendumSky News host James Morrow says the thing pushing people to Vote No for the Voice referendum is the “behaviour of the Yes” campaign. “This idea that if you do not vote for the Voice if you have questions about the Voice – you are spreading misinformation, you are evil, you are a racist, you are not a good person, you don’t like Aboriginal people – none of these things are true of No voters,” Mr Morrow said. “Students at Charles Darwin University were told that they should reconsider a career in allied health if they do not support the Indigenous Voice to Parliament. “This sort of bullying is exactly the reason why so many people look at the Voice to Parliament, they look at creating another chapter to the constitution, they look at the way the High Court will wind up ultimately being the arbiter of this. “They say if this is how you are going to behave and demonize half the population – more than half now – I don’t want anything to do with it.”
