Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says Australia really has a need for a boost in productivity when it comes to the nation’s ports. Mr Frydenberg has promised that if re-elected, the government will charge the Productivity Commission to review Australia’s ports for inefficiency. “The efficiency of our ports is critical to our economic success, but four out of five Australian ports have been rated in the bottom quartile of more than 350 ports globally for their efficiency and for their productivity,” Mr Frydenberg told Sky News host Chris Smith.
