The Australian’s Environmental Editor Graham Lloyd says China has been “very aggressive” in purchasing critical energy infrastructure in Australia.

“The Chinese have been very aggressive in buying up this space and when you put that against the concerns we’ve had about critical infrastructure and Chinese access to our information and habits,” Mr Lloyd told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“Australia is deeply exposed to China for energy, both in terms of the assets they control here but … the imports of all the renewables we hope are going to replace what’s in the system.”
