While it will be a difficult process, Australia must wean itself off the reliance of China according to Sky News host Peter Gleeson.

Mr Gleeson said the post-COVID 19 recovery provides many business sectors with the opportunity to “re-calibrate going forward”.

He said it was good to see Australia’s farming sector pushing for a "revitilisation of agri-manufacturing” as part of the nation’s Post COVID recovery plan. “After years of being hammered by bushfire, drought, floods and now COVID, agriculture has been resilient”. “The regions have to play a significant role in the country’s post-COVID future now is the time for that push to start,” Mr Gleeson said.
