Integrity has been restored to Australia’s borders following the repeal of the medevac bill, according to Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton. The contentious legislation was struck down in the Senate on Wednesday after the government secured the support of key crossbench senator Jacqui Lambie. “It’s a good day [for Australia],” Mr Dutton told Sky News host Paul Murray.
