Deputy Premier Steven Miles has expressed his condolences after a toddler died with COVID-19 at the Queensland Children's Hospital.
The 23-month-old is believed to be the youngest to die with the virus in Queensland and the 14th COVID-related fatality under the age of nine in Australia.

Offer ends 31 October, 2022 The Sunshine State recorded another 8,209 new COVID-19 cases overnight, taking the total number of active cases to more than 64,000.Of the 19 deaths, one person was in their 50s, four were in their 70s, six were in their 80s, seven were in their 90s and one person was over 100.
