A coffee snob who claimed there was “no good coffee in her area” has been fined for breaching Melbourne’s virus restrictions.
The woman was caught driving in the Bayside area on Sunday, with police checks revealing she was more than the permitted 5km radius from her home.
The woman was among 195 Victorians fined for breaching the chief health officer’s directions in the past 24 hours, with three men also arrested during fiery clashes between police and anti-lockdown protesters in Melbourne’s north. Other people fined included a group of four who were stopped at the Princes Freeway checkpoint in Little River and told police they were going to visit a friend in Geelong.Source:News Corp AustraliaAnd three others were fined after police busted five friends gathering at a house in Bendigo, with only two able to provide evidence of living at the address.
