A woman killed in a freak storm on Sydney’s Northern Beaches is being remembered as a “beautiful soul”.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I write to advise of my mother Susan’s passing,” her son Ben Porter wrote on Facebook.Susan had been at a Christmas gathering before she died.“She was at her neighbourhood Christmas gathering near Narrabeen SLSC on Sunday afternoon when a large sudden storm hit, and she headed home.
The other two were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition. Both are now serious but stable. “As you can imagine the patients had multiple injuries after being hit by falling branches and other debris.
