The city has plenty of bookstores to rummage through as well as parks and cafes to read in
To mark Read A New Book Month this September, Aura Print sought to reveal the best UK cities for book enthusiasts, looking at factors including the number of libraries and bookstores, and the number of greenspaces and cafes to enjoy a relaxing read in.
In third place, coming behind Bath in second place and York in first, Belfast scored a total of 7.3 out of 10. The study pinpointed that the Northern Irish city has a whopping 18 libraries and 55 bookshops to choose from, with an average Google rating of 4.71 out of 5 - the highest average of all cities analysed.
