The brand was founded in a New Zealand garage when, as Chris was tinkering with leather and suede to make some shoes for their daughter Chloe, he came up with the first soft soled shoes of their kind.The iconic children’s shoe brand has gone into receivership, more than 30 years after it was started by the Bennett family .Within a decade, the brand had become beloved in Australia and was also being stocked around the world - Bobux shoes are now sold in 40 countries.
“These challenges have been exacerbated by a slowing economy, with record low consumer confidence levels being seen in key markets.”
