Renfrewshire Council planning chiefs have given the go ahead for the development of the site.
A former watering hole in Johnstone could see bar stools replaced by barbells as permission has been granted for the site to be transformed into a gym.The proposed gym will occupy a ground floor unit within a parade of commercial units.
