US President-elect Donald Trump is set to meet with Joe Biden in the White House on Wednesday after the outgoing president extended a formal invitation.
“The White House has confirmed that on Wednesday next week … Donald Trump has been invited to the White House to meet with Joe Biden and has formally accepted that invite. According to the Associated Press, Trump has won 301 electoral college votes to Kamala Harris’ 226, with the outlet calling the state of Nevada for the Republican overnight.Ms Nielsen said the races for many House of Representatives seats were still ongoing, while just one Senate seat is yet to be called.
“While they will still have control, it will only mean that a few people can try and tank the agenda in the House of Representatives and cause a bit of chaos before things go up to the Senate and go to the White House for sign-off.”
