Cricket Australia releases the fixtures for the BBL and WBBL, with both competitions set for lengthy seasons.
This season's Big Bash League will last for more than two months as Cricket Australia persists with an extended, 61-game season.The season will start immediately following the first day of the Gabba TestThe 10th season of the Big Bash League will start earlier than usual, with the first game, between Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades at Adelaide Oval, starting on December 3.
The season opener will take place after stumps of the first day of the Gabba Test match against India, which starts on the same day. The season will extend through to February 6, with a five-game finals series following a full home and away season.Marcus Stoinis was named player of the year last season, scoring 705 runs.
"Scheduling in the time of coronavirus is not without its challenges," Big Bash boss Alistair Dobson said.
