In his first comments since Vladimir Putin suspended Moscow’s involvement in a nuclear arms treaty, President Joe Biden said the Russian leader has made a “big mistake”.
The Russian dictator made the comments during speech marking 12 months since Russia launched its deadly offensive in Ukraine earlier this week.
Mr Biden, who was in Poland, met with Bucharest Nine to “underscore the US commitment to Transatlantic security”.He held a roundtable with the leaders from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estiona, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.Mr Biden highlighted the important role that the members of NATO’s Eastern Flank play amid the ongoing conflict.
