Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's Tenoch Huerta reveals Namor solo movie hopes
"Well, of course, now he has a different background. But [director Ryan Coogler] and I, we decided to go big with his humanity," Huerta said.
"At the end, he's just a simple man. It's a simple man trying to save his family, to protect his people, to protect his culture, to protect what is the most important thing for him. "From that point on, we build this character. I think that's why people feel so identified. They have an empathy with this character because in the core of the creation, we always had the objective to create and build a simple man, a simple human being.
