A man in his 50s sustained serious head injuries
Police have launched an appeal after a man has been left in a critical condition following an assault.
Two men aged 36 and 38 have been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm, in connection with the investigation.Det. Insp. Liam Davy, of Blackpool CID, said: “This assault has left a man with some very serious injuries, and our thoughts are with him and his loved ones at this time.
“You may see an increase in our officers out and about. If you have any concerns, or any information that may assist our enquiries, please do not hesitate to go up and speak to them.
