The MCU's Blade movie is rumored to have a prequel setting, and that could be the perfect way to pay off Marvel's tease connecting Blade to Eternals.
Blade being a prequel movie could perfectly pay off his introduction in Eternals by having some characters return. Mahershala Ali's vampire hunter got a surprising Marvel Cinematic Universe debut during Phase 4 through Eternals' post-credits scene. The voice-only cameo by the character came as Marvel Studios prepares for a solo Blade movie as part of Phase 5.
Blade’s Prequel Setting Allows Some Eternals Characters To Appear The Eternals are a powerful race of cosmic beings created by the Celestials, and Phase 4 confirmed that they have been on Earth for thousands of years. While they were not allowed to interfere in any events that did not involve Deviants, many of the Eternals started new lives for themselves after splitting up in the 1500s.
