King Charles 'showed great resilience just like his mother always did' in the face of Senator Lidia Thorpe's outburst at their Majesties during a reception at Canberra’s Parliament House on Monday, body language expert Darren Stanton has said.

'Just like his mother': King Charles 'wasn't fazed at all' during Senator Lidia Thorpe 's wild outburst about Indigenous genocide at Parliament House , body language expert says

Shortly after his speech about the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change, Senator Thorpe launched into a 30-second verbal tirade at Charles and Camilla - accusing the monarchy of genocide - before being removed from the room by security. Speaking to SkyNews.com.au, Mr Stanton said Charles was not nervous in the face of adversity brought on by Ms Thorpe and is well accustomed to handling the controversies of his role.

Analysing Camilla’s smile as she slightly leaned towards her husband and Mr Albanese, Mr Stanton said the Queen was unthreatened, adding"in terms of feeling in danger, there’s none of that.” “Both Charles and Camilla have seen this all before, and something of this nature is not going to perturb them whatsoever; it’s business as usual.”
