WA Police release bodycam vision of a man who allegedly resisted arrest on Thursday, sparking a chase through Perth's southern suburbs.
Police are searching for a man who allegedly resisted arrest and led police on a foot chase through Perth's south yesterday morning.
In a statement, WA Police said they attended a property on Canning Highway, in Como, at 7:20am where they attempted to arrest Laemin Forbes, 40, as part of an "ongoing investigation".Officers said they chased Mr Forbes through surrounding streets on foot, including through a number of houses. Police allege a woman in her 80s — who was walking on the footpath — was grabbed and thrown to the ground by Mr Forbes, hitting her head and requiring assessment in hospital.
The 40-year-old allegedly then entered a home and grabbed a handbag from another woman in her 80s, before stealing her vehicle.Police say Mr Forbes is considered to be violent and unpredictable.
