Former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Alexander Downer says UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson did not survive the vote of no confidence “by a huge margin”.
“His position, I think, still remains tenuous but under the rules of the Conservative Party, they’re
not able to hold another leadership ballot for a year so there is that factor,” he told Sky News Australia.
