Melbourne University Professor Michael Wesley says the United Kingdom is experiencing "a really big psychological blow" following the recent news Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been admitted to intensive care after contracting coronavirus.
Boris Johnson was admitted to St Thomas' Hospital in London 10 days after testing positive for COVID-19 however he was transferred on Sunday, local time, to intensive care due to his worsening condition. Professor Wesley told Sky News there appears to be a "kind of national confusion going on in the UK" following Boris Johnson's diagnosis.
