A 15-year-old boy riding an electric bike has died having smashed into a parked ambulance after being followed by police.
Police blocked off the road for a number of hours as serious collisions investigators trawled the scene for evidence. An ambulance with a smashed windscreen was pictured within the cordon.Greater Manchester Police later confirmed officers followed the teenager an electronic bike, as he rode along Fitzwarren Street onto Lower Seedley Road in Salford.Moments later, a 'collision occurred between the cyclist and the ambulance'. Officers were not in pursuit at the moment of impact.
