A nine-year-old boy has been sucked down a Gold Coast storm drain after the state was smashed by wild weather. 9News
Paramedics were called to a private property in Gilston at 4.40pm and treated the boy after a "post immersion" incident.He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital and is in stable condition.
The region has been hit with heavy rain over the past few days causing flash flooding in some streets.
