The Irishman has spoken out against the technology designed to help referees avoid wrong decisions.
Brendan Rodgers has called for VAR to be SCRAPPED as the Celtic boss is left unhappy with the current state of the tech's usage.
Speaking ahead of a return to Premiership action against Aberdeen, the Celtic boss says he'd scrap VAR in its current format. Rodgers said: “If you ask me right now - I would get rid of it. Absolutely. But there's money been invested in it for the greater good of the game that is supposed to make it better.
"We all make mistakes. But I'd rather accept that than what we see at the moment. Daizen is probably up to six weeks out. He's strained his medial knee ligament. "
