A childcare centre in Brisbane's west has been closed due to a positive coronavirus case.
Last night, Queensland Health announced Goondiwindi, South Burnett, Southern and Western Downs and Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire will join Toowoomba when the restrictions are brought into effect at 8:00am on Monday. Residential aged care and disability accommodation facilities will be required to restrict visitor access and residents leaving the facility and face masks and gloves will be mandatory in hospitals, aged care and disability facilities.
Alert times for Graceville Netball Courts and Jimboomba Central Shopping Centre have also been expanded for August 22 and 24 respectively, with further details available on the Queensland Health website.
