Brisbane hidden under thick fog, drivers warned and flights delayed
Airplanes expected to land at Brisbane Airport have been delayed or diverted, and drivers are being warned to drive to the conditions as the city is hidden under a thick fog.
“Flights are still leaving every few minutes but there are delays for incoming flights as aircraft are in holding patterns waiting for an opportunity to land in Brisbane,” he said about 8am.By 9am, the spokesman said, one Singapore Airlines flight had been diverted to the Gold Coast and another international flight was forced to land in Sydney.
