A Brisbane man was shot in the leg and a woman suffered minor injuries during a terrifying home invasion in the inner-city suburb of Nundah early on Thursday morning. The group of unknown offenders forced their way into the Florence St property shortly after midnight, according to police. On Thursday, reporter Georgia Costi appeared on Sunrise , with details of the home invasion.
“Just after midnight, police say that a group of unknown offenders have forced their way into this home behind us. “Some form of confrontation has taken place. Things have turned violent. Police say a gun was drawn and, as a result, the 26-year-old man who lives here was shot in the leg. “A woman who also resides at the property suffered minor injuries, but those armed offenders didn’t hang around for long. They quickly fled the scene.
