Hundreds of teens and indigenous rights activists have been involved in a violent scuffle with UN security after protesting climate change.

But with just 1C of warming, the world is already struggling with the impact of climate-related disasters such as super storms and droughts, as well as the costs involved to societies. Earlier at the conference, Swedish activist Greta Thunberg accused rich countries of “misleading” people over climate action.
