Minister for Indigenous Australians Linda Burney has lashed out at former prime minister John Howard after he said the Voice to Parliament would be a 'coercive influence' on parliament.

Picture: NCA NewsWire / Gary Ramage The Indigenous Australians Minister said she was thankful former Liberal prime minister Malcolm Turnbull had changed his stance to support the Voice to Parliament. “I think that they are clear in saying that they are open to the idea, they are clear in saying they want more detail but you know what, there is a lot of detail already out there,” she said.
