Hapton with Park ward’s Peter Gill will now sit as an Independent
Hapton with Park ward’s Peter Gill has quit Burnley Council’s Conservative group. The former UKIP politician will now sit as an Independent.
“I am concerned about local issues like tackling anti-social behaviour. This to do with the behaviour of our Prime Minsters and the national Conservative Party not the local party in Burnley. Cllr Hosker said: “Cllr Gill has not spoken to me about this decision. These are his concerns. I wish him well.”
